How many doors can the PSA-80 PRO sand in a shift?

Thanks to our continuous Pendulum System and zero setup time, our customers predictably process up to 500 doors in a standard 8-hour shift.

Not at all. The system requires absolutely no programming. Your shop manager sets the sanding standards once, and any entry-level operator or intern can simply drop the doors on the table, select the preset, and press start.

It uses 0.1 mm laser accuracy and 40 mm of force compensation to physically “feel” the wood, applying the exact same pressure at 8:00 AM as it does at 4:00 PM. This eliminates human fatigue and reduces rework by over 35%.

It easily handles flat panels, raised-panel doors, Shaker doors, single piece MDF, solid wood, veneer, delicate thermofoil prep and more. You can mix different types and sizes of doors in the same batch and the PSA-80 Pro will sort it out.

Absolutely. The AI vision system detects the style of the door, ensuring the sanding path follows the exact geometry of the piece.

The system can process doors from 4” x 4” up to 36” x 80” (single cycle) and 36” x 160” or 72” x 80” (dual cycle), making it perfect for small drawer fronts up to massive pantry doors.

While cycle times vary based on door size and intensity of the sanding required, our dual-zone Pendulum system means the robot never stops. While the robot sands on one side, the operator loads the other side, ensuring non-stop throughput.

Managers can fine-tune grit, pressure, speed, overlap and patterns, then lock them into tamper-proof presets to ensure total process control.

Yes. Because the system uses simple material presets instead of complex programming, training is incredibly fast for both managers and operators.

Every system includes one full year of unlimited remote support and free, over-the-air software updates to keep your technology completely future-proofed.

What maintenance does the PSA-80 PRO require?

The system features autonomous tool calibration for daily precision, and the industrial robot arm is engineered to run an incredible 48,000 hours before requiring its first mechanical maintenance.

The system maximizes abrasive sheet life through consistent pressure. One abrasive sheet usually lasts over one hour.  When it is time, changing the abrasive is exactly as quick and easy as changing an abrasive sheet on a standard manual orbital sander (hook and loops type).
