Machinerie Continental and Omnirobotic sign a distribution agreement for robotic machines for the wood industry

Machinerie Continental and Omnirobotic Inc. have entered a strategic partnership to distribute advanced autonomous robotic equipment. Starting on October 1, 2024, Machinerie Continental will become an official distributor of Omnirobotic's robotic machines in Quebec. Together, the two companies will combine their strengths to promote and install sanding robots for the wood industry, particularly among kitchen cabinet manufacturers. In response to the growing labor shortage, this partnership aims to provide a cost-effective and efficient solution for wood manufacturers seeking tools to meet the increasing demand.

“We are thrilled to finalize this distribution agreement with Omnirobotic. It’s a unique opportunity for Quebec manufacturers to benefit from products recognized across North America and developed right here. These products address the urgent need for skilled labor. Omnirobotic solutions are turnkey for any cabinet manufacturer looking to improve productivity while reducing costs.” – Pierre Gauvin, Vice-President of Machinerie Continental.

“After successfully deploying our machines in the United States and other parts of Canada, the Quebec market remains a challenging one to penetrate, despite Omnirobotic being a local company. We are confident that this partnership with Machinerie Continental, a trusted company among Quebec manufacturers since 1941, will accelerate the adoption of our innovative solutions in Quebec.” – François Simard, CEO of Omnirobotic.
