The company’s PSA-80 PRO Panel Sanding Assistant was chosen from a highly competitive field of entries submitted by exhibitors worldwide.
The Challengers Award highlights breakthrough products, services, and manufacturing technologies with the potential to significantly advance the woodworking industry.
An independent panel of industry experts evaluates each submission based on innovation, value, and measurable impact on manufacturing performance. From dozens of entries, only 20 finalists are selected to advance to the final round of judging.
The PSA-80 PRO was developed to address one of the most persistent challenges in cabinet and furniture manufacturing: achieving consistent sanding quality while reducing reliance on skilled labor. Using advanced 3D vision technology and intelligent automation, the system automatically identifies panel geometry and sands cabinet doors and panels without programming, setup, or operator adjustments.
“We are honored to be recognized as a Challengers Award finalist,” said François Simard, Co-Founder and CEO of Omnirobotic.
Finalists will perform live demonstrations for the judging panel immediately prior to the opening of the International Woodworking Fair.
International Woodworking Fair 2026 will host the final judging process, with winners announced on opening day of the show.
For Omnirobotic, this recognition reflects the growing adoption of intelligent sanding automation across North America and reinforces the company’s commitment to delivering simple, reliable solutions that help manufacturers increase productivity while maintaining high-quality standards.
