About François Simard
With over 20 years of experience in industrial automation and machine vision, François Simard has founded three innovative companies in the manufacturing sector, all focused on pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with robotics and 3D perception.
Having visited more than 400 manufacturing plants across aerospace, military, and automotive industries, François has developed a deep understanding of production challenges. His leadership at Omnirobotic has led to the development of perception-driven robotic systems that can sand, polish, and prepare surfaces autonomously, without programming.
