New era in robotics: autonomous sandblasting and polishing without programming
Autonomous robotics is redefining what’s possible on the factory floor. In this session, François Simard, Co-Founder and CEO of Omnirobotic, will share how new perception-driven technologies enable robots to perform complex surface preparation tasks, such as sandblasting, deburring, and polishing, entirely without programming. Drawing from real-world industrial applications, François will explain how combining real-time 3D vision with adaptive path planning allows these systems to identify parts, plan tool paths, and execute operations with precision, consistency, and safety.
